Oftentimes, our sourcing starts with a proven executive or management team within a specific industry. We maintain an extensive network of industry executives with the combined talent, experience and entrepreneurial energy to develop smaller businesses into middle market leaders. We continuously work with these management teams to define an opportunity within their respective industries and outline a business growth strategy and clear path to investment value.

At other times, Silverline Partners may independently research and develop an investment thesis in an industry that is otherwise overlooked by larger private equity firms due to high fragmentation, limited cash flow lending opportunities, or small market niche size. We then conduct a search for a manager or team who can validate and further develop our investment thesis and who will partner with us to identify the right platform company for our strategy.

When evaluating opportunities presented to us by intermediaries, Silverline Partners seeks situations where we can add value by defining a unique approach to growth or by creatively structuring a transaction to mitigate investment risk.
