Jeffrey Muti
Managing Partner

Jeffrey Muti has an extensive operational and financial background. Prior to forming Silverline Partners, Mr. Muti was a Managing Director at Dailey Capital Management, a private equity firm that specializes in lower middle market leveraged buyouts. At Dailey Capital, Mr. Muti focused largely on sourcing deals in the manufacturing, consumer products and services sectors. He worked closely with senior management of portfolio and prospective companies in formalizing strategic growth plans and targeting new customers using his network of industry contacts. Before joining Dailey Capital, Mr. Muti served as Managing Director at Lincolnshire Management, a New York City based private equity firm that makes control investments in middle market companies. At Lincolnshire, Mr. Muti originated investment opportunities, negotiated purchase terms and agreements, managed all aspects of due diligence, raised debt financing for buyout investments, and served on the board of directors at various portfolio companies. Mr. Muti also provided on-site operational expertise to various Lincolnshire portfolio companies, resulting in significant improvements in their performance. Prior to Lincolnshire, Mr. Muti was a Senior Manager of Deloitte Consulting, assisting small to mid-sized companies and multinational corporations in strategic planning, operational improvements, and margin improvement strategies. Mr. Muti has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Duke University. He was also a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, where he served as Weapons Specialist. Mr. Muti currently serves on the Board of Directors of Interasian Resources Group, LLC and Cellective Case, Inc.

Melissa Nguyen

Melissa Nguyen has a deep combination of experience in finance and strategy. Prior to joining Silverline Partners, Ms. Nguyen was a private equity associate at Dailey Capital Management, a lower middle market leveraged buyout investment firm. At Dailey Capital, Ms. Nguyen was responsible for originating proprietary investment opportunities and participating in all aspects of deal structuring, negotiation and due diligence. Ms. Nguyen also helped develop business and market strategy for several target industries and developed numerous white papers outlining Dailey’s investment theses in those industries. Before joining Dailey Capital, Ms. Nguyen served as Director of Strategy and Business Development at a New York-based provider of financial analytics products, where she helped devise a market entry and penetration strategy, as well as authored the business plan and various industry and business white papers. The company has since been acquired. Her prior experience includes leveraged finance and restructuring at Chase Securities and CIBC World Markets. Between years at business school, she completed an internship at Goldman Sachs in the Fixed Income division. Ms. Nguyen has an MBA in Finance and Management from the Wharton School of Business, and a BA in Math and Economics from Dartmouth College. Ms. Nguyen currently serves on the Board of Directors of Interasian Resources Group, LLC and Cellective Case, Inc.

Lucine King
Director

Lucine King has over 15 years of business experience including management, marketing/channel strategy, market research/analysis, due diligence, and new market development. Her previous experience includes analyst at Forrester Research, where she focused on supply chain and R&D for Manfucturing and Business Trade companies. Before Forrester, she was a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton advising manufacturing and consumer products companies on areas such as marketing and channel strategy, pricing models, and restructuring. She previously worked at General Electric where she helped the company develop its Japanese market. Ms. King has an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Business, an MS in Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, and a BS in Engineering from Northwestern University.
